BIT Show Part 2
Hi punks, Fanning today is in a very happy mood. Reason being we are going to be having a new member joining our webteam next week! More importantly, that means lesser of Frayon! In order to celebrate, I brought my piñata which is in the shape of Frayon. Oh yeah.
This project is funded by the International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, which basically promotes Singapore products in Second Life. To those who have not heard of Second Life, it is a virtual world where you can create your own character and be whoever you want to be. Check it out at http://www.secondlife.com. (People can actually fly in this virtual world!!!)
This project provides an alternative platform for showcasing and marketing Singapore products to international markets.
By employing tools from Second Life, products can be presented in a 3-dimensional format and examined more thoroughly from different angles.
Visitors to the virtual site can also experience how Singapore products can be used in the real world.
Now who says that IT has to be boring! Students who will be joining the Business Information Technology (BIT) course, this is just a small glimpse of what you will be involved in. Cool huh!
This is the group behind the project! Group members are Toh Yi Hui, Ang Tian Tian Zenith, Norfazillah Shariff, Phey Quan Rui Rey, Chew Hong An Louis and Poh Teng Feng.
Now before I run off to practise my ever-improving karate skills, here I am bringing you a very interesting Final Year Project from the Business Information Technology Show on Tuesday!
